Job Description

Maintenance; expansion and qualitative improvement of our database to enable communication with CSOs

Communication with CSOs throughout India is the foundation for all our activities. We are looking for a person who will:
1. Understand the importance of the position to IndiaCares
2. Build our data on CSOs, Companies and in other categories.
3. Be ready to work with colleagues to make data available to support their work;
4. Continually look for ways to enhance the value and use of data especially in relation to CSOs and companies.

Eligibility Criteria

Skills/ Experience required 1. Computer use especially Excel (with an understanding of very basic formulae) 2. Good/ reasonable English, both written and spoken; and one or two other languages 3. An eye for detail and accuracy 4. Perhaps one or two years of work experience; ideally in some admin/ office support role within a CSO 5. A willingness/ ability/ interest to learn to use CiviCRM - an ‘OpenSource’ database management system
