Job Description

Direct supervision of the operations of the Child Help Desk, Satellite, Open shelter, deaddiction programme, restoration and rehabilitation and follow up

•Providing value inputs on a regular basis for the effective functioning of the CHILDLINE units and the programme in general.

•Need based capacity building of teams on a regular basis

•Ensuring Child Protection Policy (CPP) standards for all the operations at the partner level

•Liaising/ negotiating with the specific railway station Authorities/ any other department for aspects related to advocacy for protection of children.

•Ensuring data flow from the partner to the RRC which is qualitative and timely, in coordination with Reporting and MIS City level Anchor.

•Ensuring specific tasks related to orientation/ induction to the various staff of partner are carried out

•Regular monitoring for ensuring adherence to protocols and follow up of cases.

•Handholding the project teams in creating child protection ecosystem at railway stations

•Implementing the station level monitoring framework and reporting on the same

•Assisting the RRC and HO team in baseline, benchmarking and end evaluation assessments.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Should be a dynamic person with experience of 3-5 years in programming and implementation of child related projects and which includes direct experience of programme Implementation for at least 2 years especially in child rights and protection. Should be experienced in networking and coordination

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - MSW

1. Experience of working with government departments would be desirable.

2. Should be ready to learn about Child protection and abide by child protection policy of CIF.  Should have reading and writing skills of the regional language Will be required to travel regularly to the station/s, open shelter, de-addiction centre partner Office and CIF regional office in Chennai/Kolkata/Mumbai/Delhi.
