Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Leading and directing the human resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service.

2. Employee relations, including managing absence, discipline, grievances and sickness.

3. Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement.

4. Performance management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.

5. Learning and development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams, Implementing the training and development agenda, identify areas that need attention and improvement.

6. Recruitment and retention: managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns.

7. Reward advice and supporting employees on company benefits.

8. Policy and procedures implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes.

Other responsibilities-

1. In conjunction with the Head of HR, ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensuring line managers are up to date with changes to any policies.

2. Working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues.

3. Dealing with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.

4. Crafting of business and people solutions.

5. Managing HR budgets.

Reporting To – Senior Director

Eligibility Criteria

1. Minimum of 15 Years of experience in general HR role preferably from the development sector. 2. Post Graduation in HRM

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - MBA/PGDM

1. Should have excellent communication in written & oral.

2. Should have good knowledge in creating HR Systems & concepts.

3. Good communication skills honed in business partnering/advisory roles.

4. Examples of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member

5. Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals

6. Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team.

7. Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture

8. Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.

9. Understanding of employment law

10. A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals.

11. Should have good exposure in software like MS-Exc
