Job Description

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), a research and advocacy organisation is looking for Programme Officer for its Clean Air and Sustainable Mobility Programme to develop and conduct capacity building and training programme on air quality management and sustainable mobility strategies for diverse group of stakeholders. This is a critical programme to build regulatory, industry and civil society leadership to drive change in these areas of intervention.

Work profile

1. Design and build capacity building programmes customized to the needs of regulators and different target groups in the area of air quality management and sustainable transportation.

2. Contribute to research and customize research products to develop training modules and resource material for capacity building programmes.

3. Ability to anchor and conduct training programmes; feel comfortable about giving classroom lectures in respective domain areas

4. Networking to build the community of trainees/participants from different target groups.

5. Travel for research, meetings, trainings and associated activities as required by the programme.

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

Experience of at least 3-4 years will be given preference. This position will require handling both on-site and off-site training programmes and supporting research work.
