Summary

NISHTHA at present is working in 72 villages in 4 blocks of South 24 Paraganas district for the empowerment of women and children who suffer from acute poverty, deprivation, malnutrition, diseases, illiteracy, exploitation, superstition and many other evils. NISHTHA works in the areas affecting the common people i.e. health, nutrition, education, group formation, value orientation, livelihood programs, awareness generation and campaigns.
