Summary

Amar Seva Sangam is a premier organization in the field of disability management founded and run by Professionals in wheelchairs with the zeal to create an equal society. Our focus is on rural areas. Our approach is to establish a centralized resource center and act as a Catalyst for change in the development of Persons with Disabilities by involving the village community in the process. We have built a strong team and infrastructure and deliver quality services at the local, regional and national levels. One of the highly impactful and replicable program that we are working is the Digital Home Based Early Intervention for Children With Developmental Delays under the age of 6 with disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Impairments, Speech, Language & Communication Delays, Hearing and Visual Impairments, Orthopaedic Disabilities, Autism, Congenital Disabilities and any other causes of developmental delay.

Causes Working On

During these testing times in the pandemic, we are continuing our services. There are more than 250 Persons with Disabilities are staying in Amar Seva Sangam. We have initiated Covid-19 Revive and Rebuild projects for CSR for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). These include 1. Tele-Rehabilitation 2. Online Education 3. Covid-19 protective kits 4. Counselling sessions, and 5. Awareness programs for the following projects. (no need to give entire overview of what all projects the org is dealing with. Only info of the project where your volunteer will be placed is needed) • Vocational Training Program • ITI • Higher Education Programs • Inclusive Higher Secondary School • Rehabilitation for children above six years of age • School for Special Needs Children • Disabled Youth Trainees Program • Girl Children with Disabilities • Empowerment of PwDs with Self Help Groups Annually we handle about 15000 PwDs across all age groups and across all disabilities.
