Summary

Rasta”,www.rasta.org.in a National level voluntary organization, has been working for the integrated community development of under privileged since 1994 in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Rasta has educated more than 20700 children and mainstreamed more than 7100 children so far. Rasta has developed need based teaching learning material TLM for classes 1st and 2nd in 3 subjects Hindi, English and Math’s, and trained 500 teachers of government schools and civil societies. We are also working with the Govt. Schools to improve the quality of education by following joyful and innovative teaching methods. Vocational skill has been imparted to more than 1200girls and women in job -oriented trades like cutting - tailoring, embroidery, beauty culture, basic computer skills, basic management, retail management, and English for employability of youth.
