Summary

Sahyam is a non-profit organization, founded in 2017, to enable and empower NGOs with better management and thus help multiply their potential impact in the world. Sahyam (meaning ‘to assist’ in Sanskrit) was born to empower the vision of those doing good – whose hard work and commitment needs support to impact so many people in need. Sahyam was born with the vision of SAMs (Samaritans) – people at the other end of the business spectrum – whose commitment created the perfect environment ‘to assist.’ These SAMs are driven by their passion to help others and are doing their best to help as many people as they can but are limited in their reach. Before becoming a structured organization, there are many hurdles they face, that take away from their efforts of helping others. Their ‘reach’ & ‘impact’ would be multiplied if they have a ‘management support-system’ to help them scale.

Causes Working On

At Sahyam, we are driven by a single goal, to support NGOs/social organizations, who are doing meaningful social work, to enable them to reach their dreams and perhaps even go beyond that! We believe that developing a high level of trust and a synergistic relationship with them will be the key in developing efficient management skills. For their goals to be sustainable long term, we will collaborate with them to build an effective organization structure.
