Causes Working On

We at Pune City Connect work at three Development Tracks: 1. Education - The Education track runs across all the Marathi Medium PMC schools (180 schools as on date). To significantly improve the quality of learning in municipal schools in Pune, the Education track comprises two strategic projects with the PMC: Sahyogi Dal and Model Schools. 2. Digital Empowerement - The Digital Empowerment track has a vision of 100% Digital Empowerment in Pune i.e., at least one person in every household in Pune being digitally empowered. This will be achieved by opening 50-75 Digital Empowerment centres. It is expected that 100% Digital Empowerment will be achieved by 2024. 3. Sustainable Livelihood - The Sustainable Livelihood Program is run through physical centres called 'Lighthouses'. The provision of location and capital expenditure for these Lighthouses is taken care of by PMC. Corporates contribute through CSR funds to provide the operational expenses. The Lighthouses are currently 6 in number.
