Summary

Ayaad Foundation works for bringing about empowerment in the rural area by working closely with elderly, youth and children. We are building a residential colony in the Kumbhalgarh area of Rajsamand Rajasthan. Building this colony we aspire to provide joint and independent residential facilities where children, youth and elderly exist in a symbiotic relationship and lead a life of love, mutual respect and dignity. At Ayaad we work on models of financial sustainability of the residents of Ayaad and undertake business ventures to run, expand and scale up. None of our work is done in a commercial basis. Ayaad Foundation is registered as a section 25, now Section 8 not for Profit Company under the Companies Act. Ayaad was registered on 12th April 2012 in Delhi. Ayaad believes in the principle of equality and inclusion and works towards building a society where there is no discrimination. We are presently working in rural area of Tehsil, Garbhor, Rajsamand District, Rajasthan.

Causes Working On

Our work can be divided in five key themes, child protection and rights, elderly care, sustainable use of natural resources, organic and eco friendly livelihoods, and organization development. Dimagshala is the program which works using education as a front to ensure child rights protection and development of children as active sensitized citizens. For elderly care we are building a rural retirement colony for the urban elderly with all facilities for geriatric care. We engage with the rural elderly to work on their health, financial stability and other needs. We harvest rainwater, recycle water and waste, and use solar power. Ya kitchen and SHE are our flagship programs for sustainable livelihood option .
