Win Over Cancer is a registered charitable trust working for cancer impacted families since last seven years. We are registered with NGO Darpan and empaneled with "Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)" We are running eleven programs, clubbed under three verticals, namely "Save", "Support" and "Survive".
"Save" is more about counseling people on early symptoms of cancer, treatment options and various stigma about cancer. We hold "Health talks on cancer awareness" with corporate, industrial areas, housing societies, schools & colleges. 80+ events have been organized till date. "Support" is about helping a patient during treatment. This involves helping the patients reduce cost of treatment, providing funding support for treatment to poor patients and "free supply of our patented prosthetic bra to breast cancer survivors (FSPB)" . FSPB is our flagship program where more than 3400 ladies across 25 states have saved over Rs 62 mn during last four years. Under "Survive", we help cancer impacted families who have lost their livelihood to cancer, attain long term earning capabilities. Here we pick any one member of such family, provide them scholarship for training at a center near their house and once training is complete, help them be self employed or get a job
