Summary

Community Based Mobilization for Development (CBMD) is a Non- Governmental Organization came into its legal existence in 2009, in Delhi, under the Indian Trust Act (1882) with National operation. Since inception it is engaged in building community capabilities in the area of Livelihoods, Entrepreneurship & Micro-enterprise Development, Gender Equality & Women Empowerment, Education, Health, Environment & Natural Resource Management and Conservation etc. through techno-social participatory research and sustainable interventions developing strategic alliances with various government, non-government and private development agencies with matching synergies. Its main focus is on community for the overall human development that relies on science and technology through developing its skills and capacities for better living conditions and access to resources. As an agency for human community empowerment we devise and implement programs built in with sustainable growth strategies.

We evolve development plans and enter into association and partnerships to develop functional initiatives to bring together resources, expertise and organisations, government bodies, industries and people at the grassroots.
