Summary

Established in 1943, The Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI) is a national level non-governmental organization with more than 3,500 Member Institutions which include large hospitals, dispensaries and small health centers. CHAI implements various health interventions in the country with a view to realize its vision to bring ‘health for all’. CHAI endeavours to promote community health, control of communicable and non-communicable diseases; provide relief to disaster victims, support and rehabilitation to persons with disabilities, and advocate the right to health for the marginalized and the vulnerable.
