Summary

The Prakash Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha (PSPS) is a Non-governmental organisation. It was established and registered in 1980. PSPS is one of the leading NGOs committed for sustainable community development programmes through participatory research and development, awareness, capacity building and issue based intervention at various stages having its strong base in rural areas with special emphasis on issues of education (Vocational, Elementary education and training), Agriculture, Health, Employment, Human Rights, Women Empowerment, HIV/ AIDS, and Children in Sangli and Satara districts of the Maharashtra. It looks forward at nation building through community development, empowerment and social upliftment of socially disadvantageous groups at the grass- root level. Prakash Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha works to develop awareness and capability in those members of the society who have been deprived of their rights due to exclusion, inequality and exploitation.
