Agni Raksha provides information, training, care and support to the general, marginalized and vulnerable community and disfigured/burn victims. The organization also gives importance to confidence building and ways of projecting one’s personality to counter the reactions of people to burn victims. VISION Agni raksha’s vision is to set up an independent full-fledged burn care facility. MISSION To provide better future for burn victims through reconstruction and rehabilitation

Causes Working On

• To prevent violence and atrocities against women and children • To provide care and medical treatment for burn victims • To provide intensive counselling for the burn victims’ family members • To provide education, alternate livelihood skills, counselling and capacity building • To support women to set up a production unit which will help them to sustain their livelihood • Awareness and prevention of burns through education programmes in schools, slums and rural areas • Reconstruction of burns – through setting up an acute burn care centre • Rehabilitation of burn victims– physiotherapy and occupational therapy • To build awareness and provide health camps on STD / STI / HIV / AIDS
