Summary

Red Rope, founded in 2019 by Chrysolyte Sanamanda after a primary research on human trafficking to the most vulnerable cities - Mumbai, Kolkatta, Pune, Chennai,Hyderabad & Delhi also to understand the different approaches initiated by civil society organisations in handling the issue. one of the essential learning and observation has been convergence intra and inter ie within the civil society organisations and with Government stakeholders. Therefore one of the first steps taken in Andhra Pradesh is formation of CoACT AP network ( Collaborative Actions in Combating Trafficking in Andhra Pradesh ) on Jan 9, 2021 with 26 representatives from 13 districts of AP whose Core Committee is chaired by Roshan Kumar, SEEDS, C Bhanuja, REDS, Thirupati Rao, BBA, Veerabadra Rao, SAMIDA and Chrysolyte S Red Rope as Convener.
