Summary

Gonap is a recently started non-governmental organization engaged in educational development. It seeks to collaborate actively with schools and the community to create platforms for experiential learning to help education become 'preparation for life'. Gonap seeks to work closely with students, teachers and community leaders, through its social action projects, community interaction initiatives, health education activities, experiential learning toolkits and other initiatives. Gonap is currently implementing a health information and distribution campaign through a programme discussing concepts of ‘health’, ‘wellness’ and ‘nutrition’ with school students, teachers and members of the community. Gonap is also initiating a Learning Center in select communities to cater to the learning and social needs of children and young adults in the community
