About ORGAN India an initiative of the Parashar Foundation Organ Receiving & Giving Awareness Network (ORGAN) India is an initiative of the Parashar Foundation and the Vijaya Gujral Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Delhi. ORGAN India has a Pan-India presence and works under the aegis of the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO). Our Aim • Increase the number of donor pledges in India through large-scale information dissemination via various mediums and platforms, spreading awareness about the benefits of organ donation. • Educate and help those suffering from organ failure about their various options, and help them in their ordeal by offering information, advice, counselling. • Impact public policy on organ donation in India as leaders in the public awareness and collaborative effort of all NGOs.

Causes Working On

Advocacy and Awareness: Hold multiple sessions and campaigns with schools, colleges, groups, clubs, organizations, and corporates on organ donation and transplant. World Transplant Games ORGAN India is now the member organization for the World Transplant Games Federation which holds the WTG every two years. We are now the official Team Managers from India and will be leading the team to Perth, Australia in 2023. Radio Show on Organ, Tissue and Body Donation: Our Team at ORGAN India has over the past year, recorded, edited, and aired more than 90 shows for various radio stations across the country reaching over 2 croes people annually.
