Founded in 1943, Catholic Relief Services is a leading international humanitarian agency working in more than 100 countries and territories to alleviate poverty and suffering. CRS programs are based on need and not religious affiliation, race, or nationality. Headquartered in the USA, CRS has been in India since 1946, working through a network of partner organizations in the areas of health, agricultural livelihoods, child protection, and emergency relief and recovery. In Manipur and Mizoram, CRS through its partners is supporting Population of Concerns (PoC) and host communities to survive the COVID-19 pandemic with dignity and restore their lives and communities. CRS plans to assess the nutritional status of the vulnerable group in the Population of Concerns and host communities.
