Summary

Mann is a 11-year-old nonprofit that works with 18+ adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We train adults with IDD for meaningful work, partnering with businesses to help them secure jobs, become valued employees, and contribute to their families and society. We foster their physical and emotional well-being and provide opportunities to experience life as any young adult. Mann's vision is a world where young adults with intellectual disabilities live a full life with independence and dignity. Towards that vision, our mission is to create livelihood opportunities for persons with IDD and nurture their physical and emotional well-being. Many of Mann's graduates work in mainstream jobs in restaurants, hotels, retail outlets, or corporates. For those adults on the more severe end of the IDD spectrum unable to take up mainstream employment, Mann creates self-employment opportunities.
