Summary

Since 2007, Sanmat also known as Sri Someswar Nath Mahadev Trust) founded by IDS-Sussex Univ & LKY School of public Policy, NUS, Singapore, Alumni Amit Kumar Choubey, Dr MGR University Alumni Nitesh Kumar and Alumni of SPJIMER Lt Ms. Manikanta (died in recent 2nd wave of covid) has been working for inclusive development in India. We focus on bridging governance gaps in the execution of various Government & Non Governmental programs for the marginalized communities with the aim to reach the last person. At Sanmat we work over creating economically empowered women through livelihood linked skill development program. By creating Joint Liability Groups and also work over creating market linkages for art & craft based products. We do facilitate women groups for food processing, home based business and also for FPOs. We have identified 20000 interested women in Bihar who are interested in starting their small ventures as special component grant from government of Bihar and 3000 in Jhark
