Summary

Adhyaya, a charitable trust believes that education can be a powerful tool to empower the youth of North East India for creating a just and prosperous region. Through its flagship program ‘Luit Fellows’ and ‘Luit Scholars’ (www.luitfellows.org), it provides financial, mentoring and counseling support to exceptionally talented students from economically disadvantaged families of Assam who have completed Standard 10 and have the potential to develop into fine professionals and the desire to give back to the community. Besides this in partnership with the Government of Assam, it organises career counseling session in Government Schools called ‘Disha’ targeting Students from Standard 8 onwards to create awareness about different career options. The overarching objective is to create positive role models.
