Summary

Rural Awareness and Development Society(RADS) is located in Vikarabad, Andhra Pradesh. It was started in the year 1988. RADS is a women-centric organisation focuses on women empowerment on various aspects. Through the ardent efforts taken by society, women are now able to raise their concerns in the public forum and get the benefits from the government. Women are given training to handle domestic violence issues with legal and moral support. Society identifies women masses in rural areas through women groups and provides education. One of the significant achievement made by the organisation is the number of beneficiaries of the organisation has grown to 20,000. The organisation involved in pre-election awareness campaigns and given leadership training.
