Summary

Srijan Mahila Vikas Manch (SMVM) was formed by a small group of likeminded survivors of child marriage. The main goal of the organisation is to empower the socially and economically marginalised groups to enhance their well-being. Registered in the year 2000 under the Societies Registration Act (21 of 1860), the organization is committed to enhance the participation of the socially excluded and marginalized groups - tribal, minorities, women, children and person with disabilities - in development processes to build an inclusive society, through varieties of community owned initiatives.
