Summary

We, the People Abhiyan was founded in 2010 with a mission to empower all citizens to own, understand and practice constitutional values, rights and responsibilities in our lives and communities. The organization seeks to include all citizens on this journey; to create opportunities of action and reflection through the Citizenship Education Program and other events. The aim is to enable each citizen to understand his/her role as a citizen and act out of power and responsibility and within his/her sphere of influence – however small or large that may be. We, the People ha s created an impact by partnering with over 1300 institutions. Around 200 civic action projects impacting over 17 lakh active citizens for over a decade. Located at Gurgaon, the organization has made its footprints through its flagship capacity programs Pan India.

Citizenship Constitutional Awareness : Helps citizens understand constitutional values, rights and responsibilities, governance frameworks along with a strong focus on individual and community-based action.
