Summary

Introduction of ARVI. ARVI TRUST was registered in the year 1995. The trust obtained 12 AA, 80G, FCRA, RPwD and also registered with the National trust registration act. The organization was founded by Mr. Ramachandran, a special educator, who has spent the past 22 years of his life living and working with persons with disabilities. ARVI has established successful partnerships with government organizations, Non-Government Organizations & individuals who work with persons with disabilities in the Central Zone of Tamil Nadu. Our Vision: Ensuring Empowerment and Equality of People with Disability. Our Mission: Working together to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities, their families, and carers To improve the Academic, ADL, Skill training for differently abled persons by their involvement and participation in the development process, by promoting their Rights & Rehabilitation.

Current Commitment areas of ARVI: • Early Intervention Center for Hearing Impaired, Intellectual Disabled & Autism. • Special School for Intellectual Disabled & Autism • Special Education on Wheels (Special Education & Therapy services @ door steps)

    Association with Peoples with Disabilities (Bangal

    Arvi trust won the N.S Hema Memorial award, which recognizes South Indian NGOs working for disability rights. The award has been given by the Association of People with Disability (APD) in memory of its founder NS Hema in Bangalore on Wednesday. APD was founded 63 years ago and works with Education, Mobility, and Lovely food for People with disabilities. Arvi trust runs schools for Intellectual disabilities in Dindigul and Theni districts, they also Providing Rehabilitation services at the doorsteps for 100 Bedridden Special children from rural, foothills, farming families, and Tribes, who are unable to avail of rehabilitation services and unable to mainstreamed. This Award will be a big motivation for projects coming our way.
