Summary

Urbo- Rural Integrated Development Association (URIDA), a national level NGO, came into existence in 1991 when a team of committed individuals from various disciplines came together to promote socio- economic and infrastructural development in urban as well as rural areas. URIDA’s vision is “Enlightened Communities free from evils of poverty, illiteracy and ignorance”. For the last 27 years the organization has been working in the fields of Skill development, health, education, women empowerment, handicraft promotion and disaster management. List of our supporters include Ministries like Ministry of Rural Development, AYUSH, Women and Child Development, Textiles, HRD ,Health and family Welfare, Environment and Forests, Home Affairs, Road transport and highways, and Departments such as Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Municipal Committee of Haridwar, Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan-UP, Autonomous bodies including National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE)
