About the Organisation Sahyog, a community-based organization has been working with women, children and youth since more than a decade in low-income communities in the suburbs of Mumbai. http://www.sahyogchehak.org.in SANGHARSH, the community-based disability centre of Sahyog, caters to the educational and rehabilitation needs of children in the age group 0-20years. Sangharsh is currently operating in the community of Asalpha Ghatkopar (West), its services will also be extended at Bail Bazaar Kurla in a few months time. We follow a zero rejection policy and take in children with all type of disabilities.The children attending the centre have one or more of the following disabilities: hearing impairment, intellectual impairment, autism, adhd,physical disability, visual impairment, cerebral palsy, behavioural difficulties, or a combination of disabilities.
