Our theory of change is simple; empowering women transforms communities. We believe that when women have equal rights, opportunities and support systems, their families and communities prosper. empowHER India envisions an equitable society where women are empowered to realize their full potential and become agents of transformation for themselves and their communities. We began this journey in the villages of Panvel over two decades ago by bringing knowledge and resources. With these tools in hand, the women we worked with brought the vision of empowHER India to life. Over the years, we have expanded our work from financial inclusion, to education followed by sanitation and access to water but we have always put women at the center of all our projects We have witnessed a quiet but meaningful transformation in the last two decades Today, women are decision-makers. They are leaders. They are the reason for the success of our community interventions.
