Summary

SANRAKSHAN is a national non-governmental organisation established in 2020 by a passionate group of people who have spent more than 21 years in protecting vulnerable children. Together, the board members have worked with sector-leading organisations including SATHI, Save the Children, UNICEF, Childline India Foundation, TATA Trusts, Every Child and PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Now, they have come together and founded Sanrakshan, an organisation that strives to empower and provide care to vulnerable children living in high-risk communities and in institutional care by helping them rise above their immediate circumstances under the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of children) Act 2015. Currently, Sanrakshan is present in Karnataka (Bengaluru), Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow) and Bihar (Patna). Our focus remains on protecting children who reside in Child Care Institutions, are school dropouts, live on the streets, by implementing interventions
