Summary

Grand Alliance Trust is a voluntary, non-profit, secular organization registered as a public charitable Trust in the year 2005. Our Trust is working towards enabling poor girls & women to have access to academic and livelihood opportunities through skill development, training and market linkages in Madurai and Theni Districts of Tamil Nadu. Our Trust is headed by Ms. Athilakshmi, a passionate and qualified Social Work professional based in Madurai. She holds a Master Degree in NGO management from Madurai. Inspired by her own families’ philanthropy activities, she set out to fulfill her dream of empowering girls and women from the poorest segments of the society. The organization has so far positively impacted over 40,000 beneficiaries. We are committed to creating a world where girls and women have equal opportunities and attain holistic development as individuals as well as members of responsible civic society. Towards this end, our vision and mission guide us in all our endeavors.
