Summary

Matelli Himalayan Prayatn Dooars Society is a community-based organization located in the Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Alipurduar districts of West Bengal. The organization works within the tea gardens of above mention district of West Bengal since 2015. The organization has been helping youths of tea gardens mostly first-generation learners to connect with high and quality education. Many students have been studying or completed education (UG & PG) from reputed universities of India like JNU, Delhi University, Tata Institute of social science, Azim Premji University, Vishva Bharati, Mangalore University, Sacred heart college -Tamilnadu and Kalinga University, etc.
