Summary

Pankh Foundation was established in 2008 by Gouree Manjarekar to help the needy by regular donation activities. The foundation regularly donated to old aged homes, orphanages and slums. She knew several like-minded people and colleagues who were interested in donations but were looking out for a proper channel through which they could reach out to the needy. Pankh foundation initiated its ground work by identifying the needy and started donating regularly. Headquartered in a small place, Chikodi in the hinterland of North Karnataka, the foundation has had several initiatives focused on rural under-privileged women and children that went on to make their lives better in more ways than one.
