Summary

Founded in the year 2012 by a group of young Doctors and some philanthropists, Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society is continuing its mission of providing high quality charitable health care to mankind. The Society started its journey by establishing their first charitable project in the form of a small dispensary at Dharmawala, a tribal dominated village, situated 40 km from Dehradun, Uttarakhand and bordering the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The self-belief of the Society to provide quality health care to the deprived, tribal, pilgrims and needy along with strong willed approach led to establishment of more hospitals in phases as well as the up gradation of the small dispensary of Dharmawala to a full-fledged multi-specialty hospital. The Society with its vision and mission as the guiding principles also established charitable hospitals in three of the Char Dham’s of the state of Uttarakhand and presently the Society is running 11 charitable hospitals in the stat
