Summary

Caring with Colour (CWC) is a nonprofit organization working towards improving the quality of education in Indian government schools through introducing experiential learning in classrooms. While Indian education policies emphasize the role of experiential teaching-learning methods in schools, several studies have shown that teachers across the country still largely practice traditional learning methods. CWC plans to bridge this gap in government schools, through training the teachers on experiential teaching learning methods, providing them with experiential teaching content they can use in their classrooms and by collaborating with various levels of the education department officials to create an enabling environment for teachers that will help them easily adopt experiential teaching methods in their classrooms.
