Established in 1979, Institute for Exceptional Children is an NGO, providing counselling, psychiatric consultations, psychological evaluation and remedial education services to children, adolescents, adults, and families for emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties. We target awareness, screening and treatment for these concerns. Our vision and mission : Vision: To create a world where communities are empowered to prevent and manage mental health concerns in order to ensure inclusion and social acceptance for all. Mission: We address mental health concerns for children, adolescents, adults and families through early intervention, student centric programmes, parenting workshops, counselling and community capacity building. We offer 3 programmes: Educational Institutions Mental Health (EMH) Programme to build a positive school climate through teacher training, parenting workshops and student sessions
