Summary

The Foundation was established by Mohammad Rouf in 2005 with a dozen different major objectives, but centered on Mohammad's simple but powerful dream: that every child deserves a childhood and every child should be able to go to school. In Bangla, Mukti-Mancha literally means "a stage for freedom." Mukti-Mancha is currently focused on its Education and Cultural Program, which now includes about 120 children. The children receive from the Foundation: book supplies, clothing, medical help, and tuition fees paid directly to the local school. The Foundation identifies deserving students from primary school to university levels who are not in a position to continue their education due to financial hardships. The children live with their families and/or relatives, and they check with the Foundation office on a regular schedule to discuss their progress and needs.
