Summary

SKY SOCIAL is a youth-led organization that focuses on skill development, women and child rights as well as prevention of gender-based violence throughout the state. The organization conducts skill development programs, community outreach exercises, Gender Sensitization workshops, etc. with various government departments, including Women and Child development and Ministry of Urban development, and is an NGO partner with UNICEF for advocating child rights through their program Youth for children. As a part of the program, SKY SOCIAL mobilizes youth across Madhya Pradesh to take action for the rights of children. The organization believes in integrating a gender perspective into policies, regulatory measures, and spending programs to promote equality and combat any form of discrimination.

Causes Working On

Our core areas of work around which our intervention models are designed are as follows: 1. Livelihood Generation Women empowerment, creation of cooperatives , employment generation for youth, women & girls. 2. Rural development Localization of Sustainable Development Goals at Panchayat Level, health & hygiene issues, water conservation and supply management , renewable energy & climate Change. 3. Youth development Youth empowerment, youth fellowships, youth mobilization, policy advocacy, sexual & reproductive health and rights (SRHR) , digital literacy, digital safety and security. 4. Skill development Skills and Life skills development. 5. Equality for all Gender equality, prevention of gender based violence, inclusive development through an intersectional outcome oriented approach.
