Summary

Banwasi Vikas Ashram established in the year 1990 under society regd. Act 1960. It is a grass-root voluntary organization working in Koderma, Hazaribagh, Chatra,Godda and Giridih districts of Jharkhand to improve the Education, Health, Family Planning. Adolescent girls health, RTI-STI, Right to food, and WASH and livelihood of vulnerable sections of the society, through their organization, skill building, SHG promotion ,bank linkages, IGA ,youth group capacity building, assistance and supportive supervision to system and community. Banwasi Vikas Ashram also provide technical assistance for Participatory Learning action approach is to develop self help approach among the underprivileged community in a lifecycle approach, starting with their immediate concerns and developing the inbuilt system to empower local community for taking up development initiatives by themselves.
