Summary

Founded in 2001 by a group of social entrepreneurs and students of the University of Delhi, Association for Welfare, Social Action and Research (AWSAR) - India, is one of the few voluntary organisations promoted by the Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology (CAPART), Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, under its Starter Package to Young Professional Scheme. During the past two decades, we have undertaken a number of projects with the support of various government and non-governmental agencies including Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Environment and Forest, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Arcelor Mittal Foundation, DLF Foundation, Prakriti Foundation, ERM India Pvt. Ltd., and Essel Social Welfare Foundation to name a few.
