Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sinhayana Foundation is hiring Fundraising Manager, CSR and Partnerships.

Strategy and planning

•Lead the annual fundraising planning process to produce effective strategies to achieve funding targets across the range of revenue streams

•Lead the development of any long-term strategy to achieve agreed long term organizational goals

•Identify new potential funding streams and produce strategies to access these funds

•Provide well researched insights on periodic CSR trends ( Sector wise, thematic area wise etc)

Proposal Writing and Fundraising

•Preparing proposals; gathering and formatting information; writing drafts; obtaining approvals.

•Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; studying requests for proposal (RFPs);

•Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates; monitoring tracking data; gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.

•Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.

•Obtains approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project managers. Working with program heads to understand funding requirements; provide guidance on the overall funding scenario to form synergies between the two.

•Build team capacity to develop and pitch proposals to prospective donor.

. •Networking and building a long-term pipeline of donors including HNIs, Corporates, Foundations, International Donor Agencies etc. for DF programs by attending conferences, webinars, meets and so on. 

Other Responsibilities:

•End-to-end Donor management including developing a donor engagement plan, financial and programmatic reporting,

•Track project progress through frequent review calls, field visits, and interaction with different stakeholder groups, project staff, and verification of all project documents.

•Co-ordinate for all CSR related events including Development Dialogues, annual DF event; Webinars and so on.

•Develop team capacity to effectively deliver and lead business development and partnerships

•Work closely with the Media & communications team to develop a comprehensive communication strategy for donors/partners.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduation - BSW

Competencies / soft skills

•Good networking skills are essential.

•Ability to work independently.

•Practical understanding of development sector initiative.

•Proficient in English and Hindi communication, written as well as verbal.
