Key Responsibilities

This position of “Assistant Trainer” is primarily to impart training for short term training programs in textile domain as part of Skill Development initiative and also to conduct counselling to the youth.

Below are the details of the role:

• Conducting training in textile related courses like Textile tester, Quality Control in textiles etc. as per training session plan and content
• Should be able to handle both class room training as well as practical training in the lab
• Should be familiar and use latest training methods to effectively deliver the content of the training
• Should also undertake counselling of the youth registered for the training
• Assist and coordinate with “Trainer cum Centre-In-Charge” for scheduling the practical training in the textile testing labs as per the requirement of the curriculum.
• Conduct internal assessment during the training period and provide feedback to the trainees
• Assist “Program Officer cum Trainer” in preparing training schedules for multiple courses & multiple batches based on the requirement
• Assist and coordinate the final assessment at the end of the course by third party agency
• Preparing training report, feedback analysis

Willingness to conduct training at multiple locations and labs based on the requirement within Tiruppur

• Under or Post Graduation in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of training/teaching Experience
• Additional certification in Training and Counselling is preferable
