Job Description

  •  Average number of outpatients per month should be minimum 2500.
  • ? Number of Outreach Camps should be at least twice in a month by rotating the doctors.
  • ? Ensure Readmission rate within 30 days of discharge should not be more than 5% of the total admissions.
  • ? Ensure the IPD cases as per the target assigned after roll out of Ayushman Bharat.
  • ? Ensure that doctors are responding to the medical problems by referring to their history,

carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counselling, and referral, where necessary.

  • ? To ensure that lab test is carried out as per the patient critical incident history.
  • ? Ensure that the diagnosis of the patient is confidential.
  • ? Collecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive patient information such as examination

results, medical history, and reports.

  • ? Explain & motivate patient regarding the diagnosis & motivate that patient to convert it to

IPD

  • ? Keeping up-to-date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.
  • ? Train the junior doctors regarding the treatment, diagnosis & prescription writing.
  • ? Ensure rotational emergency duty is done by the doctors.
  • ? Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses and

injuries.

  • ? Ensure to have a proper co-ordination with nurses’ other hospital staffs & management as

well.

  • ? Those medical officers responsible for OPD hours is 10:00AM to 2:00OM, however after

completion of the working hours you should be available on call round the clock

  • ? That medical officer present in Emergency ward must ensure ward visit even on holidays

& weekly off at least twice a day

  • ? That you will work as per the shift/roster assigned to you.
  • ? That you will mark your attendance through the system arranged by the organization on

regular basis.

  • ? That you will not involve yourself in any way which you seem to be a part of politics are

any negative agenda or part of any group.

  • ? To ensure proper hand over & take over of the responsibility & work at the time of shift

change from the colleagues.

  • ? That you will perform any other task as assigned to you time to time decided by the

reporting manager or management.

  • ? That you will ensure to wear uniform as decided by the management failing which your

attendance for that day will be deducted.

  • ? That you have thoroughly gone through the prevailing HR policy of the organization and

abide by the by laws of IOCL, SOR.
