Job Description

Work Purpose:

Creating enabling environment wherein the survivors of trafficking, or those who are vulnerable

to it, are able to choose and participate in their economic and social integration through a series

of interventions with special focus on economic empowerment and job sustainability.

Work scope:

Case Planning and Review-

? Develop a case plan for each woman along with the team

? Monthly review cum assessment of progress of each woman

? Develop a mutual action plan and track the progress along with the team

? Exit plan – after six months

Life Skills Development coordination-

? Ensure life skills sessions including practical living session/visits are conducted on a weekly basis

? Documentation and assessment of output of the Life Skills project from time to time, as needed,

in consultation with the team

Job Readiness/Work preparedness development-

? Vocational assessment for each woman along with the team

? Coordinating and organizing the various vocational skills opportunities for the women

? Regular assessment of women on job readiness and vocational training

? Organise and/or conduct job readiness sessions on a regular basis

? Ensure that all relevant documents pertaining to the women are received from the referring

agencies or are created for smooth transition into jobs

? Ensure women are equipped with financial and computer literacy important for improving their

job/work prospects

? Coordinate and implement exposure visits under job readiness

Mentoring initiative coordination-

? Briefing/orientation and regular communication with mentors

? Manage and delegate appropriate responsibilities to mentors

? Coordination with mentors & mentees (our women). Plan and schedule the meetings

? Individual profiling of mentors and mentees

? Identification of potential mentors

? Provide mentors with a list of goals that the mentor and mentee should accomplish throughout the

course of the initiative

Job placements and post-employment follow-up-

? Ensure job placement and pre-placement visits

? Sustain current referral network of employers and create new connects

? Follow up with employers to assess progress

Documentation & Report writing-

? Document progress notes and report writing on a regular basis.

? Provide monthly update on target versus achievement

? Documenting assessments of the women on said parameters
