Job Description

In this role, you will lead the planning and implementation of rural community D2C product marketing, while leading B2B development initiatives to support the mission and vision of Sampark by expanding awareness, engaging the community, attracting new audiences, developing local markets, building market share, generating leads in all markets and increasing overall profit contribution throughout the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Drive sales in Varanasi

? Create Sales Plan and Strategy with the team

? Plan, implement and report daily, weekly and monthly sales targets for the team

? Devise and manage local marketing initiatives, including community, village shops, city supermarkets and direct-to-home approaches.

? Drive sales in the city and identify partners in nearby cities like Lucknow, Allahabad etc.

? Reporting to the Project Head.

Salary per month

INR Rs 13,000/- will be provided per month, in addition to transportation (Rs 2000) and communication (Rs 250) in Varanasi. This may be reviewed based on performance after a period of 3 months.


Eligibility Criteria

SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience and General Requirements

? Sales experience with a minimum of 2-4 years

? Proven track record as a Sales Manager

? Strong business acumen and work ethics

? Self-starter who can work independently

? Deep interest in working in, and with rural communities to bring their skills and output to the larger local and international market

? Good communication skills required.

? Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques.

? Interest and knowledge of current events and marketing trends within specific geographic area(s)

? Graduation/ equivalent qualification to graduation is mandatory

? Rural sales marketing experience is a plus (Not Mandatory)

Physical Requirements

? Must be willing to travel.
