Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Research Associate.

Responsibilities

• Research on Tourism Impact Assessment: Prepare research design, Pilot Testing, Data Collection and Analysis, Report writing

• Research on Tourism Industry Practices: Prepare research design, Pilot Testing, Data Collection and Analysis, Report writing

• Research and documentation of the organisation's work

• Support in content writing for the organisation's website

• Publishing articles and papers

Qualifications and Skill Set

• Graduate/Post-Graduate from a recognized University in Sociology, Tourism, Social Work, Mountain Ecology and Natural Resource Management, or a relevant field of study.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in the relevant field.

• Language proficiency in English and Hindi is required.

• Proven knowledge of data collection methods and proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical applications

• Good analytical and communication skills as well as proficient with the computer.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with local communities, civil society, industry, and administration.

• Willingness to travel.

Remuneration: Salary based on qualifications and experience.

Duration: Six-month probation followed by a review and confirmation as confirmed staff on satisfactory performance.

Location: Kullu, Himachal Pradesh
