Job Description

Work Purpose:

Creating enabling environment wherein the survivors of trafficking, or those who are vulnerable

to it, are able to choose and participate in their economic and social integration through a series

of interventions with special focus on economic empowerment and job sustainability.

Area of work: brothel and vulnerable communities


Work scope:

Case Assessment, action plan development and tracking progress -

? Conduct assessments of each woman

? Develop a case plan for each woman along with the team

? Monthly review of progress of each woman


Work preparedness development-

? Organise and/or conduct job readiness sessions on a regular basis

? Ensure that all relevant documents pertaining to the women are received from the referring

agencies or are created for smooth transition into jobs

? Ensure women are equipped with financial and computer literacy important for improving their

job/work prospects

? Ensure mentoring of the women in the various industries – coordinate with mentors

? Coordinate and implement exposure visits under job readiness


Micro-business training and follow up-

? Planning and execution of the micro-business initiative

? Follow up and handholding of women on a regular basis

? Ensure launching and set up of the micro business of women

? Assess progress from time to time


Documentation & Report writing-

? Document progress notes and report writing on a regular basis.

? Provide monthly updates on target versus achievement

? Documenting assessments of the women on said parameters

Eligibility Criteria

·        

Desired Candidate Profile:

·        BSW/MSW

·        Female Candidates only.

·        Work experience of 3-4 years in a not-for-profit (preferably worked with women)
