Job Description

Micro-business Training & Handholding-

·        Handholding and doing consistent follow up apart from training and capacity building sessions

·        Enabling the women to develop business plans and in its follow through

·        Helping in creating future sustainability, enabling them develop various aspects of the micro- business, and also plugging into government support and structures

 

Job Readiness/Work preparedness -

·        Organise and/or conduct job readiness sessions on a regular basis

·        Ensure women are equipped with financial and computer literacy important for improving their job/work /micro-business prospects

·        Coordinate and implement exposure visits

·        Ensuring social entitlements are acquired

 

Mentoring initiative coordination-

·        Briefing/orientation and regular communication with mentors; Provide mentors with a list of goals that the mentor and mentee should accomplish throughout the course of the initiative

·        Coordination with mentors & mentees (our women). Plan and schedule the meetings

·        Identification of potential mentors; Individual profiling of mentors and mentees

 

Vocational Training, Job placements and post-employment follow-up-

·        Coordinating and organising the various vocational skills opportunities for the women

·        Ensure job placement and pre-placement visits

·        Sustain current referral network of employers and create new connects

·        Follow up with employers to assess progress

 

Documentation & Report writing-

·        Document progress notes and report writing on a regular basis.

  • Documenting assessments of the women on said parameters


Eligibility Criteria

·        

Desired Candidate Profile:

·        BSW/MSW

·        Female Candidates only.

·        Work experience of 3-4 years in a not-for-profit (preferably worked with women)
