SCOPE OF WORK - Overall Social Enterprise Development & Growth
Role and Responsibilities:
? Ensure pricing and catalogue of products are in place and reviewed from time to time
? Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
? Set budgets and manage budgets
? Ensure maintenance of production, order and stock records

? Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination with current clients, potential buyers, corporate
& designer/s.
? Build up forward and backward linkages and partnerships necessary for the growth and
profitability of the social enterprise
? Coordination and resource mobilization in much needed expertise and volunteers required for
the social enterprise (like, designers, e-commerce, stalls, financial expert, etc.)
? Ensure capacity building of the team members involved directly with the social enterprise
related activities
? Ensure preparation of a business plan in consultation with the senior management/
Trustees/external experts
? Mobilization of resources for the social enterprise development
? Ensure visibility of the Social Enterprise through various platforms including social media
? Coordination and Collaborations with donors and all other stakeholders interested in/involved
with the enterprise development
? Overseeing monthly expenditures and approvals and keeping a tracking through spending plans
? Ensure continued market research and segmentation
? Ensure sales targets are set and met
? Support in sales and sales coordination
? Pretesting of products and client feedback on a regular basis
? Put in place various marketing strategy in consultation with the senior management/
Trustees/external experts
Education and Experience:
? Diploma/MBA in social entrepreneurship/Business management - entrepreneurship / Bachelor
of Business
? Past experience of handling small and/or mid-size enterprise (will be an added advantage)
? Experience of working in the social sector (on women empowerment and livelihoods will be an
added advantage)
? Experience of working in the corporate sector (on sales/marketing is an added advantage)
? Basic computer skills
Post Graduation - MBA/PGDM
