Job Description


Maintain financial records:

Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and promptly.

Prepare and maintain general ledger entries.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Prepare financial statements and reports:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management.

Generate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Conduct financial analysis:

Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency enhancements.

Assist in audits and compliance:

Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.

Prepare audit schedules and support documentation.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

Assist in implementing recommendations from audit findings.

Support financial operations:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance requirements.


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of integrity and ethical standards.

The foundation regularly donated to old aged homes, orphanages and slums. She knew several like-minded people and colleagues who were interested in donations but were looking out for a proper channel through which they could reach out to the needy. Pankh foundation initiated its ground work by identifying the needy and started donating regularly. Headquartered in a small place, Chikodi in the hinterland of North Karnataka, the foundation has had several initiatives focused on rural under-privileged women and children that went on to make their lives better in more ways than one.
