Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Planning, Review, and Monitoring:

• Development of a perspective plan for the operational area mapping the needs of the community, the current level of engagement with the community, stakeholders’ involvement, and donor requirements in alignment with Harsha’s Mission.

• Conceptualizing ideas fostering innovations, alternate models, and harnessing the previous track records.

• Develop project-wise annual, quarterly, and monthly plans and consolidate at the team level to come out with a team’s annual, quarter, and monthly plan.

• Developing an MIS aligning with organizational MIS and project-wise MIS.

• Conduct weekly and monthly team meetings for planning and review.

• Preparing monthly team reports and project-wise reports as per the donor reporting system.


B. Projects Accomplishment

• Building up a common understanding of projects: Goals, objectives, expected outcomes, outputs, and activities among project anchors/team members.

• Supporting the project anchors/team members in developing project-wise work plans breaking down the project annual plans into quarterly further into monthly and further into weekly levels.

• Ensuring each team member develops a weekly work plan for himself/herself keeping all project deliverables/plan developed into consideration.

• Identifying project-related specific training and capacity-building needs of the staff and filling up the requirements accordingly.

• On-field demonstration and handholding to team members

• Supporting the team members to document their field learning


C. Team Building

• Identify the strengths and areas of improvement of staff focusing on the non-technical aspects such as interpersonal, communication, documentation, presentation skills, understanding of poverty context, gender, etc.

• Creation of learning forums/platforms for cross-learning both intra and inter-teams within Harsha.

• Create a non-threatening environment for the team to foster openness and healthy confrontation.

• Create a women-friendly environment

• Ensure all organizational policies, systems, and processes are communicated to all team members.

• Ensure all compliances such as display of organizational registration certificate on the notice board, details of the Sexual Harassment Committee at the workplace, maintenance of an attendance register, and accounts-related documents.

• Ensure transparency, adhering to discipline and ethical work culture

D.Liaison/Networking/Convergence

• Building Awareness about Harsha in all line departments. Building a good rapport with all line departments and Government agencies at the local level.

• Be a member of local-level networks/groups of Government and Civil Society Organizations

• Be aware of Government schemes and programs: focus, allocation and establish convergence.

• Represent Harsha at the local level through presentations, and attending workshops and meetings.

• Establish linkages with local companies to source possible funding under Corporate Social Responsibility.


Salary:


Negotiable: Based on years of experience and Interview performance. Apart from that, we do have a group accidental insurance policy with a coverage of 120% of the monthly gross income in case of accidental death and a family annual coverage of up to INR 3,00,000 for hospitalization for more than 24 hours.
